This Victorian Moonstone and Diamond ring is built around a stunning 4ct cabochon cut Moonstone, flanked with two old cut Diamonds totalling approx. 0.20ct.
Moonstones have a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom.
The central stone has been claw set into a 9ct Yellow Gold gallery to maximise the amount of light that can pass through, whilst the two supporting Diamonds create a sparkle on either side, augmenting the Moonstone’s ethereal hues.
This beautiful ring is a fantastic combination of two remarkable and precious stones steeped in the history of the Victorian era.
We recommend you insure for £1,400. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
